If I Can

If I can dream                              I had a dream of sight.
    I can see                            Through the darkness came light.
If I can learn                            I had to learn to deal with it.
    I can teach                            And teach myself all new ways.
If I can reach                              Reach beyond my self pity.
    I can touch                              To touch what I am today.
If I have faith                          I put all  the faith within me.
    I can believe                              In one God I do believe.
If I can love                                The One that I love dearly.
    I can be hurt                              My hurt He has relieved.
