As Children on the Shore

As children on the shore we play
Beside the celestial sea
As praises to our Lord we say
In Heavens mansions we shall be

Far from this world of toil and grief
As children on the shore we play
For in God's arms we'll find relief
Where the skies will never be grey

More beautiful than flowers of May
Is the garden of our new home
As children on the shore we play
So no more shall we ever roam

The glory of His love we'll share
In this place where the Lamb does lay
A happy day to see you there
As children on the shore we play
