The Stone's Rolled Away

The Stone's Rolled Away

They took Him to Calvary, His life not to save
"Forgive them Father", I heard Him say
Now three days have passed, since that mournful day
His tomb is now empty, the stone's rolled away

Upon the night sky many will look
But not take the time to open the Book
They won't find the truth, just their final dismay

His tomb is now empty, the stone's rolled away

Then there were others who came in his name
Who claimed to be brothers, but just wanted fame
Wolves in sheep's clothing, His words they betray

His tomb is now empty, the stone's rolled away

Two thousand years later has anything changed?
In temples the money changers are still the same
Their greed will rob them of the richest of names

His tomb is now empty, the stone's rolled away

But the day is upon us, and soon it shall pass
When the Lord separates the wheat from the chaff
Let me be the wheat, on my knees I do pray
For His tomb is now empty, the stone's rolled away
