Reminisces

Reminisces

Looking over the vastness of the sea
As the waves roll on and on
They come and then go again
Never remaining
Leaving only silt and foam behind
Covering the sand like a blanket

The evening stars dance in the sky
Letting us know another day has died
Reminding that each day
We too slowly die

Much like the sea
We leave silt and foam
Our love covers like a blanket
We come and go
But never to remain

Our souls touch another
Only in time to disappear
Much like the endless waves
Leaving reminisces of ourselves
Only to remember
