**Challenges**

There comes a time in your life
When challenges are set in front of you
It might be a job, a child or
Even a friend.
But it's a challenge none the less

I have to say the biggest challenge
That most of us have to overcome
Is doubt placed in our lives
Mostly where your heart is concerned.

Then you have to dig really deep
Are you a trusting soul?
Will you allow that trust to hold?
Even when evil manipulations
Are set in motion!

The challenge
Good against Evil
Love, trust, honesty
The pure of heart
Against lies, deceit, control
The dark of heart.

I guess the best way to attack
Such a challenge is a simple one.
The age old practice of prayer
Prayer to give you the strength
Give you the love and understanding
To overcome evil ways.

I accept this challenge
I believe in the old ways
There is nothing stronger
Than the challenge of prayers
