Satin Paved Road
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Satin paved road

In each country
Some do not believe in the bible
That loving others as yourself
Are just words not to be lived by
They have changed the basic laws of life
To fit their needs
Legally I might add

Twisting, turning, abusing, using
To fit their greed and need
Yet, there is only one Entity capable
Of slipping so easily un-noticed
Into ones mind making them believe
Their lies, cruelty and immorality are just

People are people
They make their own choices
For whatever reasons… they do
Even if they can't see
Those thoughts have to be planted

Evil is way too easy
Whereas the good road is painful and hard
So, why not take the easy road
Satan paved it in satin
With rose petals and honey

But...
Once you get to the end of that easy road
Why should you be so surprised to see
Snakes, eternal fire and thorns await you?
