Final Tear
Slowly ascending her mountain
Along the old stone path
Laced with delicate foliage
The morning rays give
Mystical, spiritual feelings
Through the limbs of the
Majestic oak of ancient times
Gingerly stepping
Upon the misty stones
Smiling unto herself
Cherishing the site
Of opulent colors
Gracing her path
Roses awaken to the dawn
Warmed by the sun's rays
Gently she touches her favorite rose
Not to leave a simple bruise
Inhaling its succulent sweetness
Gleaming with delight
She watches through the misty light
The gracefulness of her daisies
Touching her stream while
Waltzing in the breeze
Setting herself upon the worn stone
Breathlessly admiring the beauty
Her secret waterfall brings calmness
Serenity, happiness, love
'Tis a special place
Eyes closed dancing with visions
Filling herself with the essence of nature
Caressing rich soil which gives new life
As the sustaining coolness of pristine water
Frees her flowing spirit
Touched by the feathering of a single pedal
A forgotten rose drifting upon the breeze
Tenderly gathering it to her heart
In sadness she watches
Its life gives way as the last mist drops
In a final tear of sorrow
Glistening in the morning rays
Waiting, praying for one last time
To share with the spirit of her love
Their special place
For she knows
Like the pedal of the rose
Her life shall give way
The tear of her heart
Shall drop in the flowing stream
Then once more
Their spirits will forever
Be near.
