A Sparrow and God's Love

A Sparrow and God's Love

Upon the ground a sparrow lay,
Fallen from his perch.
Stunned and cold he shivers,
Beneath a silver birch.
Who will take care of that tiny sparrow?
Who cares if he never sees tomorrow?
Why would anyone care at all
About something insignificant and small?
Alas, there is Someone who cares,
He sees the tiny sparrow lying there.
He lifts him gently off the ground
And returns him to his nest safe and sound.
If God cares so much for one small bird,
Then He must care for you and me even more.
Even the hairs on your head are numbered,
He knew who you were before you were born.
As a child of God, you are fearfully and
wonderfully made.
His love for you will never fade.
