The Garden in My Heart

 

There is a garden so pure and rare
That only the Lord and I share.
This hidden refuge from the world
Is planted deep in my heart.
It is here where the Lord and I chat
About the things that trouble me most.
My innermost feelings with God I share.
In this garden I feel safe and secure.
Here in the garden in my heart
All stress and tension depart.
I like to vist this garden as often as
I can
Where I can feel the touch of the Gardener's hand.
I come to this garden every day
Whenever I close my eyes and pray.
