Mundane Miracles

Mundane Miracles

While watering my yard one day ~
a mundane, routine chore,
The Lord sent me two rare delights
that made my spirits soar.

The water from the hose sprayed out,
and sunlight hit it so
That when I looked at it just right
I saw a bright rainbow!

And as I stood there quite entranced,
reminded of God's pow'r;
He sent a tiny Hummingbird
to take a morning show'r.

And while it hovered 'neath the spray,
I thanked the good Lord for
Two "miracles" that had transformed
a mundane, routine chore.

--Connie

"It is my pleasure to tell you about
the miraculous signs and wonders
that the Most High God
has performed for me."
(Daniel 4:2, NIV)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
