Equal Time
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Equal Time

Sometimes,
Problems are pint-sized
And tears flow by the gallon.

Sometimes,
Our cup is full of happiness
And we drink from it
With a teaspoon.

We can wallow in our sorrow;
If we need to, that's just fine.
But when joy comes knocking on our door,
Let's give it equal time.

For every Boo-hoo
There's a Ha-ha-ha,
(The latter, so sublime.)
So, when laughter comes to call on you,
Please, give it equal time!
