Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom Where You Are Planted

I had a conversation
with myself the other day.
I said,"You know, I think it's time
for luck to come my way."
"I'd like to win the lottery
and never have a care.
(A house, a car, some traveling;
expensive clothes to wear!)"
Then just as I began to make
my wish list grow and grow,
A little voice inside me said,
"There's something you should know!"
"It's good to have your hopes and dreams
and sometimes dreams come true.
But make the most of your Today;
God's precious gift to you!"
"Count your blessings every day
and don't take life for granted.
You'll find a wealth of happiness,
if you bloom where you are planted!"
