A Special Someone

A Special  Someone

Some folks are givers
And others are takers.
Some spread around sunshine
And some are gloom-makers.

Some bend over backwards
To help someone in need.
Some won't lift a finger
To do just one small good deed.

Some awaken each morn in a cheerful way,
With just these thoughts on their mind:
"I'll brighten someone's life today
And find ways to be kind!"

But others, it seems, are simply out
For all that they can get.
"Life had better be good," they pout,
"or I'm going to be upset!"

The givers are most happy
And the takers...mostly blue!
To be a special someone
Is to find joy in all you do!
