A Boat in the Sun Yard-work and dishes, the mortgage is due A new day is dawning, and the baby is too I need some sleep cause my day's never done But still Lord I thank you from my boat in the sun From my boat in the sun I see the sun rise His majestic creation helps me realize How lucky I am to be one of His own When so many others are lost all alone My troubles are small, and my tests they are few Compared to some others that are dying for you "My Lord how I love you" I give thanks to Thee For the prayers that were prayed to help set me free From the clay to the potter, the fruit to the vine Rivers to oceans, from your heart to mine By the word never changing, thanks for days never done and the wisdom to spend them on a boat in the sun

About the Poet
I love God and claim Jesus as lord.
My purpose is to encourage others to do the same.
