Heaven's Just Like Christmas

Heaven's just like Christmas

Heaven's just like Christmas.
You know it's rightly so.
Yes I trust in what God says.
I can not wait to go.
A gift was given from above
some use here everyday.
Others sing a festive song
to take their cares away.
The magic in what God reveals
is proof that there's a place
where everyone will want to be,
a smile on every face.
A Christmas I've imagined
many times before.
Here are pictures from my mind
for others to explore.
There is no explanation
for what's not seen with eyes.
All the endless sunsets,
or your very first sun rise.
The brightness of its rainbows,
Christmas tree type light..
I pray that this will stir your heart,
these simple words I write.
Ability we will have,
with nothing to compare.
Maybe see the music play
while floating in the air.
Experience eternity
a Christmas thought that's sweet.
Feel love for every pebble
that lies beneath your feet.
On the road you travel
is only found what's true.
The questions of the ages
are presents wrapped for you.
It's Christmas start your journey.
The road from any place,
heading one direction,
beginning with God's grace.
Christmas gifts in Heaven!
It's said that it is true.
But none will be as great
as the first one offered you!

About the Poet
I love God and claim Jesus as lord. My purpose is to encourage others to do the same.
