Ecclesiastic Cry

Ecclesiastic Cry

If I hadn’t.. you wouldn’t be here
You wouldn’t have cried
or shed a single tear

You wouldn’t be thinking
of times that we shared

things that were said,
thoughts that weren’t dared

This box would be empty
these flowers still growing

I’m sorry to leave
but my sorrows not showing

The sun that rises
no more will I see

The things God provides
are no longer for me

Cool breeze blowing
reminding all of this day

Life taken for granted
now taken away

About the Poet
I love God and claim Jesus as lord. My purpose is to encourage others to do the same.
