Dinosaur Trap

"What about dinosaurs?" Explain them to me!
Are they older than Adam? How can that be?

Were they down on the earth before the first day?
That seems to be what the evolutionests say.

How funny that Adam was made out of clay,
full of dinosaur death, pain, and decay.

Truly, God reached into all that was good,
scooped up some dust, as much as He could,

into it He breathed the life of a man,
perfectly created as only God can...

Debating some isues is healthy to do.
As iron sharpens iron you grow in Christ too.

But don't ponder and probe it, wonder, or dream,
spend all of your time, get together a team,

debate secondary isues, cast esentials away.
It's a great way to burn up the best part of a day.

Because the sermon on high, the one on the mount,
in front of some people that they didn't count.

The things that he said you can not ignore,
but no mention was made of a dinosaur.

So focus on Jesus with no time to spare.
All counts for eternity until we are there.

Don't chase dinosaurs down a rabbit hole far
when the Bible's not clear on where they really are.

Like the tree in the garden,
was it apples, or pears?

When it comes right down to it
who really cares!

In Heaven we'll find out the mysteries of all.
But until then stay focused to answer God's call.
