Here Come The Windy Coldfronts

Here Come the Windy Coldfronts

you can hear the winds a howling. The winds
hit the back of the house, come around, rattle
the stormdoor. It doesn't sound good.

Here come the windy coldfronts,
you can hear the winds a howling. Hearing it hit
the house, rattling windows, doesn't make ya feel
too easy. Probably trash cans flying too, whatever
else that isn't weighted down.

Here come the windy coldfronts,
you can hear the winds a howling. Here comes the
rain, hitting the windows. Certainly glad to be
indoors, where it's warm and dry.

Here come the windy coldfronts,
you can hear the winds a howling. It was in the
60's today and yesterday. It was 63 Wed., Thurs.
65, didn't last long, 'til the colder weather hit
again. Seeing the sunshine, sure was beauitful
and warmed up things.

Here come the windy coldfronts,
you can hear the winds a howling. Ole Man Winter
is almost at our doors. We've already had snow
flurries in the forecast twice.

This started about Nov. 21, 2002
Thursday evening. And it's still
cold. May get up in the 40's
this week. 20's & 30's at night.
Some areas in Tenn. have already
had alot of snow.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
