Morning

Morning

Amber rays of dawn

Spill light upon the

Rushing, pulsating river of life.

Morning rluctantly appears.

Ghosts of the past

Whisper within.

Shadows dance to the

Rhythm of a heartbeat

As morning sows her seeds.

Voices of a thousand angels

Sing of the Redeemer.

An ebony night

Fades into Eternity.

The morning is near.

The unending, ever-flowing

Circle of Life

Permeates the soul

And the morning is now.

About the Poet
I still have 4 grandsons and love to write. Although it hasn't been easy (nothing worth while ever is), on June 1 Floyd and I will celebrate our 57th wedding anniversary.
