Rest

Rest

Rest awhile and then go on
For brows when frowned with darkened dreams
Must call upon those heavenly arms
That cherish you with love.
Breathe lightly then
For in your breath
Blow whispers of sweet angel song
Hushed music from above.

'mong all Life's traums
Its zillion trips
Its million falls
Yet not a bruise have I or strain
For oft a day my soul I lose
To heavenly arms as soft I pray
To Him to whom I so belong.
I rest awhile and then go on...

You Light Up My Life
