Eternal Love

He loves me, He loves me yes;

A measured span of His arms;

He loves you too, how did you guess?

On the cross his crowned head hung.

How do we begin to be ever worthy,

Of a passion so extremely wrung?

Of the blood shed from a seat of mercy?

The world in a raging sea, of sin;

To us was surrendered our God's son.

A course of redemption to begin,

A love eternal continues His reason.

A season of daisies in the wild,

Wilt under the scorching sun;

Heart of Jesus, still meek and mild.
