BLESSED MOTHER

Blessed mother Mary,
By whom we are in turn blessed,
We hail you once again,
As the season of joy draws near;
We gather thoughts of shepherds,
And wise kings who journey,
To lay at the feet of your baby,
Symbols of a father's destiny;
Gold for the precious gift,
That is our King;
Frankinsence to sweeten our lives,
By his ever presence;
And myrrh for the annointing of our Christ,
Our saviour, our reedeemer;
We hail you once again,
As the cause of our present joy.
