Fuelled by Hope

...I will praise you more and more. (Ps.71:14)

This morning’s grey dawn faded
Into a bright golden sunshine
Day

They crucified him, and laid him
In a tomb, but the angel rolled
Away

The stone on the third day
He rose again: resurrected Christ
Jesus

Each daybreak brings, an unfolding
Of God’s plan; of His salvation for
Us

Before His throne of grace, our praise
like fragrant incense; fuelled by
Hope.
