Divali 2003

Ever on a divali night
When lit deyas shine so bright
Neighbours don’t ever think about fight

They remember instead about Rama’s might
Of his victory and the end of strife

To create a splendiferous sight
Being bent is the bamboo’s plight
To hold the tiny divali light
