He Comes

At the head of the table.
The host: he is Love
He is who forgives sinners,
And pays the redemption bond.

Holy is his name;
Just as the Father, so the Son,
Holy Ghost follows,
To fulfill a promise made.

Accept him unhesitatingly;
In his wholesomness receive,
The partner most fitting,
For this our human soul.

Grace and mercy these;
His gifts precious, are given,
Freely freely, he comes that we,
Broken, may thus be made whole.
