Romans 1:19--20

This morning on my car
I saw floral masterpieces in frost,
swirls of fronds
abundant feathered effulgence,
exquisite in crystal
as if tossed off for fun
deleted bloom by bloom
now by the rising sun.

I wonder which came first,
the frond or the frost?

Who is this artist of fern and vine
who doodles on my car at night
his signature design?
