Sunshine and Snow

Sunshine and Snow

How silent sunshine is,
running
on the snow.

How mindful to miss
blue prints
children make
sliding down a hill.

How softly brushes
shadows edge,
drifted under trees.

How gently melts
the diamond lace
draped sparkling
from my eaves.

And slowly steals blue shadow,
while slowly dims the sun,
with silver breath
snow awaits
rising of the moon.
