Slippery ground

Slippery ground

All dark and slippery
Yet we must go through
Though the end is far from reality
Life is a journey we must make
The ground is slippery but don't slip
Your faith you must hold through
Appearing so hard yet so simple
The journey is longer walking alone
Those ahead have a better testimony
Truly the ground is slippery to walk on
A wonder it never crossed the mind
How could one go through without God
Impossible it is when we walk alone
Yet we don't look up but forge ahead
His hand has long been outstretched
But we choose to slip and fall
Though many we are on the slippery path
Yet his hand is big to take every hand
It's time to tread this path
Slipped once, never again
Taking God's hands, There's no stopping us.
