Final Couture

My best robe,
I must appoint:
red velvet
it will be,
to match
my lips and firey
hope, the brilliant
Light to see.

My hair will
be combed
back plain,
no ringlets
to swing free,
I shall be made
new again,
with no complexity.

My feet, will
in mere sandals
stride up to
the Golden Dome
as Heaven's gates
open wide,
and God welcomes
me home.
