NOTES:

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 92 degrees. I attended Worship Services this morning. As usual we had a wonderful service. I had lunch at home. I took my nap this afternoon without a cat. I watched the Lawrence Welk program at 5:00 p.m. from 1980. I put treats outside for the cats around 6:05 p.m. I had a nice telephone conversation with my niece, Ruby, in Mesa, AZ, at around 6:50 p.m. I still have to put the garbage on the street for pick up in the morning. The cats are fine. I have seen all of them.

NOTES:

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 85 degrees. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the newspaper office to pay for my subscription for the next three months. While there, I visited with my good friend, Pat, who attended high school with my daughter, June. I went to the post office and then to the CVS store for some items. I took a nap and Itty Bitty napped with me. I put treats outside for the cats around 6:10 p.m. At about 8:00 p.m. I had a call from Charley's son, Paul, who lives in Olathe, Kansas. He said that he couldn't get Charley on Charley's home phone or cell phone. He asked if I would go check to see if Charley was ok and of course I went right then to Charley's home. Charley was ok, he had been working outside and didn't have his cell phone with him. It is nice that Charley and I can check on each other when needed. That is why the Good Things are late tonight.

The cats are fine. I have seen all of them this evening. Rascal is on a desk near me at present and he is the only one with me. I hadn't seen Lucy's twin in about three days but it came back this evening. It ate two little bowls of dry food so it must have been hungry.

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 87 degrees. We had rain starting about 7:15 p.m. last night and it was still raining a little when I got up this morning. I received one and six tenths inches of rain at my house. We were having a thunderstorm last night when I should have been doing the Good Things. Charley had lunch at his church today so I had lunch at home. I went to the dentist at 1:30 p.m. I took a nap this morning and also this afternoon. That is about all I feel like doing any more. I put treats out for the cats at 6:10 p.m. Thanks for reading the Good Things and thanks for your emails.

The cats are fine. None are with me now but I have seen all of them this evening.

USA Constitution

If you get the chance listen to Dr. Kennedy's (pastor in Fl) message on the Constitution and the Bible. Very enlightening. He stated that in the discussion of the Constitution the Scripture was the most often referenced. Among his points were: 1, we are a nation of laws. Law is supreme not men. 2, all men are created equal. 3, all men have God given rights not just gov't given rights. Some thoughts for Independence Day

NOTES:

Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 93 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. Melissa was our waitress today. I went to the post office, then to the Petsense store and then to Walmart. I was hot, sweaty and exhausted after I got home and got the car unloaded. I was ready for a cool nap in my bedroom. Smokey napped with me today. Today the electric company had a tree company trim trees in our yards adjoining the back ally to keep them from growing into the electric wires overhead. They do this about every five years. At around 6:10 p.m. I put treats out for the cats and sat with them for several minutes. Since last time I have had emails from Burlene, Geneva, Leela and Mary Jo. I appreciate your emails and I appreciate everyone who reads the Good Things.

The cats are fine. None are with me at present but Rascal was here a few minutes ago. I have seen all of them this evening.
