GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. - 1 John 4:16(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

8 The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever - do not abandon the works of your hands. - Psalm 138:8(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

Only God's inspired truth can protect us against the Enemy (Satan). - Bill Crowder -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

God is the measurer and healer of our spiritual health. - From Our Daily Bread -

If you don't see an opportunity, try to create one. - From Reminisce Magazine -

May the blessing of the Lord always rest upon you in hope...in joy...in victory! - From Prayers and Blessings -

NOTES:

Today has been mostly sunny with a high temperature of 93 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. Melissa was our waitress today. I went to the post office, then to the Petsense store and then to Walmart. I was hot, sweaty and exhausted after I got home and got the car unloaded. I was ready for a cool nap in my bedroom. Smokey napped with me today. Today the electric company had a tree company trim trees in our yards adjoining the back ally to keep them from growing into the electric wires overhead. They do this about every five years. At around 6:10 p.m. I put treats out for the cats and sat with them for several minutes. Since last time I have had emails from Burlene, Geneva, Leela and Mary Jo. I appreciate your emails and I appreciate everyone who reads the Good Things.

The cats are fine. None are with me at present but Rascal was here a few minutes ago. I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a nice 1st day of July. Everett
