Memorial Day
If you live in the USA, you are celebrating Memorial Day. It is a national holiday to especially remember those who are fallen heroes on the battlefield. Thousands have fallen since this nation began for the cause of freedome. There has been a call from a national organization to stop at 3 p m this afternoon and take a minute of silence in honor of those who have fallen. I have two brothers who are now dead who served in the military. I remember their sacrifice in WWII. Thank God they returned home but I still would honor them this day. You may have close friends or relatives who have served in the military and have passed on. 3 p m a good time to join thousands of others who are taking time to think of them and their service to their country.May 7, 2015

Happy New Year Everyone
If you are reading this you are wished a very blessed and happy new year. A great way to start the new year is to take time to thank God for His goodness and mercy in the past year. If things have not gone well, to thank God for keeping you faithful and trusting. God will provide. Pray for a spiritual awakening in your nation. A revival of righteousness and faithfulness in your church. A personal commitment to serve God each and every day as you seek His will and reach out to others. God bless you. Merry Christmas
To each one who reads poetry at WC and reads this blog, I wish a blessed merry Christmas and God's blessing on your New Year. May you know the Christ of Christmas in a personal and life-changing way. He is Lord as well as Savior. If you haven't before, look to Christ today. Make it the best Christmas of your life. Blessings, QueDecember 12, 2014
Everett Christian - Good Things
Everett has notified all who receive the Good Things that he will no longer be writing and sending it. He is 89 and no longer feels up to making the effort. I wish to thank him for providing it for so many years and wish him the very best in his "golden years". (As someone has noted that means golden for the doctors! *smile*).
