GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
(The Apostle Paul wrote) 10 "I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose." - 1 Corinthians 1:10(New Living Translation).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
- Psalm 91:9-12(New Living Translation).
A QUOTE
A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER
May the rest of your years be the best of your years.

NOTES
I am running late so the notes will be short. The usual things went on today.
The cats are fine. I will see you next time.

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD
17 Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 18 Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. - 1 Timothy 6:17-18(New Living Translation).
GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD
20 The Lord detests people with crooked hearts,
but he delights in those with integrity.
- Proverbs 11:20(New Living Translation).
A QUOTE
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.
- Robert Louis Stevenson -
A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER
True friendship is like good health-the value of it is seldom known until it is lost.
- From Reminisce Magazine -
NOTES
Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures around 90 degrees. I did the usual today, lunch and the post office. This evening I sat in the yard with the cats and read. The weather is beginning to get uncomfortable unless a person has air conditioning.
The cats are fine. Little Girl is on the couch and the rest are somewhere else around the place either inside or outside.
At 10:40 p.m. skies are fair with a temperatre of 74 degrees. I will see you next time.

GOOD THINGS
By Everett Christian, WC Poet
He delights in every detail of their lives.
24 Though they stumble, they will never fall,
for the Lord holds them by the hand.
evil people find death.
Glory DaysGorgeous George, named by my mother, is a peacock.
One warm spring day a few years ago, he appeared out of nowhere and stood at her window. He peered in quite seriously, as if he were on a mission. His sole purpose seemed to be to protect her and watch over her.
I was grateful for his help. Mother was at the end stage of her life, spending her last weeks in the comfort of her own home. When George fanned his beautiful tail feathers out, with their beautiful hues of green and blue, Mother thought she might be getting a peek at heaven.
After Mom died, George attended her funeral, standing solemnly and proud with his magnificent tail spread out in all its glory. A glory Mom would know a hundred times over.
