GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

12 Does anyone want to live a life
      that is long and prosperous?
13 Then keep your tongue from speaking evil
and your lips from telling lies!
- Psalm 34:12-13(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

18 Evil people get rich for the moment,
but the reward of the godly will last.
- Proverbs 11:18(New Living Translation)

QUOTES

Do not worry; eat three square meals a day; say your prayers; be courteous to your creditors; keep your digestion good; exercise; go slow and easy.  Maybe there are other things your special case requires to make you happy; but, my friend, these I reckon will give you a good life.  - Abraham Lincoln -

We have no right to reject the words of the Bible or the ideas which they represent and still claim to be Christians.  - B. T. Roberts -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Happiness is an inside job.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny in McAlester, Oklahoma with high temperatures around 90 degrees.  Charley, June and I had lunch together.  June and I then went to Walgreens and Walmart.  June left for her home in Yukon, Oklahoma, about 2:30 p.m.  She called at 5:30 p.m. and had arrived home safely.  I sat outside with the cats and read for a couple of hours this evening.

The cats are fine.  They are outside at present.

At 10:30 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 78 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
