Saying Goodbye

It's useless that I even try
To find a way to say goodbye,
I'll miss your understanding ways,
The priceless hours, the pleasant days.

Long time friend of that rarest kind,
With loving heart,perceptive mind.
You're gifted with the eyes to see
The person that is really me.

These years have been so great, you know
No words can fully tell you so,
From my thoughts you'll be  not far,
We'll aways be the friends we are.
