Irish Stew

Irish Stew

Dried worms in my pockets
Special rocks and berries too
Candy wrappers in the other
Ready to make my stew

Carefully sorting all my stash
Picking out the best
Adding lots of grass and twigs
To give it lots of zest

Thinking of a victim
To try my delicious stew
Maybe my older brother
In the house he flew

Shrugged my shoulders
And thought what is new
Had no one to sample
My wonderful Irish stew
