Hold You Forever

My heart fluttered
As I watched you
Sleep like a babé
You woke,Opened up to me
Like you never did
Leaned on me
And you seemed to
Belong on my shoulder
When I held you
You fit perfectly
The crook of my arm
You exuded so much warmth
I wanted to
Hold you forever . . .
