My heart awakens to the sound of birds, The sweetest songs that men have heard. The melodies may rise and fall, The notes usher in praise from all. How can any day be judged as wrong, When its provenance begins with song? |

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
