Daisy
Daisy, the dish washer, went on vacation And I pray she hurries back because I’m becoming Mrs. Frustration She’s been gone all summer Which is a bummer Because I have piles of dishes in my sink Sticking Crusting Stinking Dusty Bowls and cups Forks and spoons Pots and pans I’m not washing them with my hands Daisy, the dish washer, better come back soon Maybe I will get my children to wash them this afternoon I hope Dorothy, my dryer, and Wanda, my washer, don’t go on vacation anytime soon

About the Poet
I'm a wife, full time mother of 7, and a grandmother of 1. I have served in the children's ministry for 14 years.
I enjoy sharing Christ with others and writing poems. I believe according to the Scriptures that we should share with one another the things of the Lord and the things of the heart. The author of Ephesians tells us to speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:19-20)
