You Are My Heart's Desire

Welcome, dear Holy Spirit into this heart of mine!
Come and fill me fully with Your glory divine!
Jesus, You are all of my yearning heart's desire.
Lord, baptize me to overflowing with Your Holy Fire!

Lord, I adore you, with all of my heart and soul.
Knowing Your precious presence is my highest goal.
Draw me and forever keep me within Your holiness.
Jesus, You have so much mercy on my lowliness.

Lord, You are so beautiful-so very lovely to me.
All I desire is to be only Yours for all eternity.
You made me all Yours, by atoning for all my sin.
You gave up Your glory, my poor lost soul to win.

You suffered much untold agony, pain and a brutal death.
Because You rose again, I have Your Holy Spirit's breath.
You ascended into heaven and now, You reign in glory!
You left us Your Spirit and commissioned us to tell Your story.

You have not left us orphans; You endowed us with power.
If we pray and commune with you, You're with us each hour.
There is nobody in this world who could ever take Your place.
I only want to adore You, Jesus and behold Your lovely face!
