One Solitary Place

       One Solitary Place

There is just one solitary place, where one can feel a sensation
       of everlasting peace.
This one place can only be in the arms of our Savior Lord.
Who wants you to follow Him at His beckon call.
       His grace is tender.
       His mercy sweet.
One can always cling to His passions so deep.
And as our prayers are heard on high.
His presence is serene as a blissful sky.
One solitary place, one solitary tear that tenderly
       appears on our Father's face.
As we entrust to Him our hearts, while adoring His love
       so dear.

About the Poet
I am 62, and happily married to a wonderful Christian man for 22 years. I was saved and blessed in the seventies, and I really enjoy writing poetry. I have been writing for about two years now. Each day I am anxious to see how God will inspire me.
