Whimsical Thoughts

Whimsical Thoughts

While dancing on violet petals of morning glory,
I spooned moon filtered dewdrops fallen from
Midnight mist, into teacups and dreamt of
Whimsical thoughts and reality of this day.

Dollops of nectar, sweetened by
Honeybee footprints were gathered
With yellow stamen, then spooned into
The seasonal brew to enhance
Joyous laughter and new beginnings.

Music played as I turned petal pages
As I sang in hummingbird key of 'C',
While notes derived from nature's blessings
Echoed through cedar trellised gardens.

The music faded as I awakened and
Whimsical thoughts were just a
Distant dream that one would use
As an escape from reality.
