Dancing Solo

soft tempo building,
toes pointed, arms extend
like a lovely white feathered swan
swaying to the rythm of Swan Lake
my audience awaits my next move silkin wings flutter gracefully
my torso eager to please
as eyes dart, shifting,
judging
me..
quicken the beat
grab a partner, a broom
Let me lead , you handsome fella
I will show you how to shake that thang
my audience is noticably excited
they situp, they stand
I let them join me on stage,
everything would be alright if they would just stop barking...
