Step on a cloud,
sun setting on dreams beyond your grasp.
Grab handrailed star-steps.
Climb until you reach rest
cradled in cresent moon.
A new sun rises.

About the Poet
I am a single mom of three and work in health care. Writing poetry has been part of my life since I was very small. Japanese forms fit best with my life right now--I can compose and recompose them in my mind while driving to and from work.
