New Poets Contest
by Quentin ClingermanWWW.Wordchimes.com is holding a new poets contest. For anyone who is not a current poet at WC, you may, after reading the criteria for submitting poems, submit a poem that is original and not posted or published elsewhere.
One entry per entrant.
Judged on originality, appropriateness, grammar (especially spelling unless in dialect).
Entered by July 30, 2011
Prizes will be given if and only if there are at least 25 entrants.
$500.00 first prize
Five prizes of "Wordchimes.com: A Poetry Anthology" will be given to the other entrants on the basis of a lottery (names pulled from a hat).
You may enter today!
Enter by submitting your poem in the normal way: Sign in as Visitor. Click on add a poem and follow instructions. All accepted poems from new poets will be entered.
Decision of the judges will be final.

Just a thought, considering that this contest is for people new to the site, and, thus, unfamiliar with how things work 'round these parts, you might want to elaborate on "the normal way" to submit a piece. I'm sure I can figure it out, but some flashing arrows, a "How To," or at least a link to where to submit, would have been helpful. ;)
