NOTES
Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 93 degrees. Low temperature this morning was 74 degrees. There were rain clouds around this afternoon but the rain passed by just to the north of McAlester, Oklahoma. I had lunch with Charley. I went to the post office. I took a nap this afternoon with Smokey. My cleaning lady came at 4:00 p.m. and cleaned my house. I sat outside with the cats and read for a while this evening. The picture tonight is a picture of our cat named Friendly. I did Good Things last night but I wanted to do them tonight so I could give you a couple of prayer requests. At the end of the Good Things I will include a couple of short letters for you to pray about. The cats are fine. Rascal is asleep on a desk close by me where I can reach over and pet him occasionally. The others are elsewhere, mainly outside. At 8:25 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 79 degrees. Have a Wonderful Sunday! I will see you next time. In Christian Love, Everett. Here are the letters: From Mary Ellen Smith of Colorado: Everett, I have a prayer request for my husband Kip. He had a skin cancer removed a year ago and was given a clean bill of health, but the cancer has returned and is in six spots in his body. None of his organs are affected, but cancer was found in his back, his hip, his lung and under the arm where his lymph nodes had been removed. There is a new drug that is very promising but in order to have it there is a certain antibody that has to be present in his body. The doctor said that 20 % of people have this antibody. Prayer that the antibody is present in his body and that the Lord would bless this new drug to his body and heal him is my prayer request. Thank you mary ellen From Ruby Renfro, Mesa, Arizona: Dear Everett...Just wanted to let you know Fred had his kidney removed on Thur. has been in intensive care since...He had the cancer in the kidney and they feel it was contained in the one kidney...it will be a long process for him to get well and get home...He has so many issues..But they feel he only had the cancer in the one kidney..now if he can make it with the one kidney.which is not that strong..so we will see and keep you posted.
