GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
      as something to cling to.
 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
- Philippians 2:5-8(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

 6 The Lord merely spoke,
      and the heavens were created.
   He breathed the word,
and all the stars were born.
- Psalm 33:6(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echos are truly endless.
- Mother Teresa -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

It is more difficult to get up and take action than it is to sit up and take notice.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Do not worry about whether or not the sun will rise, just be prepared to enjoy it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Your love for God is reflected by the shining mirror of your soul.
- From Pass Along Promises -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures around 70 degrees.  I attended Sunday School and Worship Service this morning.  I had lunch at home.  I took a nap this afternoon with a cat or two.  I attended church tonight.  The picture tonight is Itty Bitty in the middle of the bed.  I would like to welcome Amy Anwick to the Good Things.  Amy, I hope you find something enjoyable or helpful in the Good Things.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the back of the couch.  Rascal has been coming in occasionally to eat a bite and I guess to check on me.

At 10:05 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 57 degrees.  I will see you next time.
