GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

16 "But this is what you must do: Tell the truth to each other. Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace. 17 Don’t scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things," says the Lord- Zechariah 8:16-17(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(God  said)
12 "I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness,
and you will harvest a crop of love.
Plow up the hard ground of your hearts,
for now is the time to seek the Lord,
   that he may come
      and shower righteousness upon you.’"
- Hosea 10:12(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

There is nothing in the world so important that I can't forgive another person.  The freedom and liberty that forgiveness brings is indescribable, and I do all I can to liberate others as well.  - Paul J. Meyer -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

When you get to feeling powerful, try ordering a cat around.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Wise men think without talking; fools talk without thinking.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with clouds now and then.  High temperatures were in the upper nineties.  I attended
Sunday School and Worship Service this morning.  Pastor J. T. started a series of sermons this morning titled "Getting a Hold of God."  The title of today's message was "Is It Time to Pray?" with 2nd Chronicles, Chapters 6 and 7 as the Scripture reference.  At the close of the Sermon when the invitation to pray was given the Altars were lined with at least 20 or more people including me.  I had lunch at home.  I rested this afternoon with a nap.  I attended church tonight.  Tonight was fellowship night where we share a meal together and visit.  I put out food and water this evening for the cats.  The cat picture tonight is Lucy, the stray that waited 10 months for me to come home.  She makes her self at home now but never sleeps in the house.

The cats are fine.  Rascal was just here and went out the front door.

At 10:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 88 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
