GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

15 Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.  - Hebrews 13:15(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

8 I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying,
for he speaks peace to his faithful people.
But let them not return to their foolish ways.
- Psalm 85:8(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Good friends know one another's weaknesses and don't point them out.

If you are all wrapped up in yourself, you are overdressed.

NOTES

High temperatures climbed above 100 degrees today under sunny skies.  Is that beginning to sound like a broken record?  I had lunch and went to the post office.  Later in the afternoon I went for a haircut at Bucks Barber Shop.  I came back by Country Mart for a few items.  I put out food and fresh water for the outside kitties this evening.  The picture tonight is Leo on top of the refrigerator.  You will notice a gray container near him.  Tomorrow's picture will also feature Leo and the gray container.

A note to those who read the Good Things on the Blog at www.wordchimes.com.  If you would like the Good Things to come directly to you so you can see the pictures, send me your e-mail address.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the van and Rascal here beside me eating dry cat food.

At 10:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 88 degrees.  I will see you next time if it is the Lord's Will.
