GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

11 Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me.
Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.

A QUOTE

His mercy hath no relation to time, no limitation in time, it is not first, nor last, but eternal, everlasting.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with beautiful white fluffy clouds floating in the sky.  High temperatures hovered around 100 degrees.  This morning I replaced two big fuses in my electric box.  That fixed the problem I was having with my air conditioner.  There are two big fuses in the box.  One of them was burned out so I was operating on half the electricity that I normally have.  I had lunch with Bill and Charley.  Charley and I then went to Stuart, Oklahoma, 20 miles to  west to visit our brother Abe.  He was not home so we didn't get to visit with him.  We did visit with our brother-in-law, O. V. McNutt.  As I came home I went by Atwood's Farm Store for a few items.  Too hot to sit out this evening so I put out fresh water and cat food.  I also watered a couple of trees.  A few years ago a stray black and white cat would come near our back fence.  I would put food over the fence but she would not come near it until I retreated quite a ways into the yard.  She would come for her food every evening, becoming more friendly.  One day she came over the fence into the yard.  Eventually I could pet her but she would never let me hold her.  We named her Lucy.  She was having about two litters of kittens every year and sometimes would bring them to our storage house.  One day I caught her and had her spayed.  I moved off to Moore last year and left her.  My brother reported to me that he saw a black and white cat near our back yard.  I was gone for 10 months and then moved back to McAlester.  It wasn't but a day or so that Lucy was also back.  She had waited for me for 10 months.  She is now almost one of the family.  She comes in the house but won't stay long in the house.  She usually checks out the cat food in the house and them goes back outside.  The picture I am sending tonight is Lucy.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl on top of the van and Rascal was just in to check on me.  Rascal stayed out most of the night last night.  He usually comes in at bedtime and sleeps with me.

At 10:25 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 85 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
